Youth Empowerment

About the project

With the state of the African nations, its youth, with daring potentials have had a bite of the horror of the incorrigible terror of leadership. And with latent energy the youth unharnessed builds up vices. One of our projects is the Skills Acquisition Programme. It comes in different phases. Youths are put together and trained in some soft skills. The most recent is the 1.0 conducted in partnership with Venice Abara Foundation (VAF) with 38 participants.

The first step to understanding the scope of the project was to learn what shaped a young person’s learning experience and to find out how we could make improvements. We eventually run the 15-hour Skills Acquisition Programme 1.0 which training curriculum that covers the production of Trademark Class 3 products.

Support and partnership

The location, scale, and accessibility was absolutely crucial to this project. We wanted to make the biggest but most realistic impact to the young people of Biakpan in Biase LGA, Cross River State. This was conducted in patnership with the Venice Abara Foundation (VAF). VAF has a legitimate presence in the Biakpan communities since 2021 carrying out several missions.

End result

Out of 52 participants who showed interest, only 38 of them successfully met the requirement to be issued a certificate of Completion. And were duly awarded
